What is 3CX?

Nick Galea established 3CX in 2005. The 3CX Phone System, which was built and offered as a free IP PBX in 2006, was the company’s initial product. In 2007, the business introduced 3CX Phone System v6.0, the first commercial edition, and later Web Meeting, an integrated and clientless WebRTC-based video conferencing system. After the 3CX Web Meeting Server was launched in February 2015, the product was stopped after version 15 had been released.

Following that, the company expanded the compatibility of 3CX to include Linux. 3CX is an open-standards communications system with various call features and pricing to accommodate businesses of all sizes. 3CX HAS RELEASED A NEW ANDROID APP:

The new 3CX Android app allows users to take their office communications with them wherever they go, whether it’s browsing the company phone book or making calls. 3CX has now made two significant improvements to the app to make it even more powerful. The first is video calls, which allow users to call any of their colleagues and then switch to a video call for a face-to-face interaction by tapping on the video icon.

3CX has implemented several changes to enhance your calling experience. Whether it’s adding often contacted colleagues to a ‘Favorites’ list or notifying you with a quiet beep when incoming calls arrive during a conversation, it’s all part of the service.

CUSTOMISE USERS’ AUDIO:

Audio options can now be customised via the web client and Chrome extension. Users can receive incoming calls and listen to call audio on separate speakers or headsets by assigning various devices to the ‘Speaker’ and ‘Ringer’ settings on the 3CX Settings page.

EDGE SUPPORT HAS BEEN UPDATED:

3CX was quick to support Microsoft’s new Edge browser, which is based on Chromium. Users may get the official 3CX extension for Edge from the Microsoft Edge Addons store. With a small, pop-out web client, they will have uninterrupted, instant access to make and receive calls. This frees up their browser for other apps and projects, allowing them to work more efficiently. They can also check on the status of your coworkers. Because the extension is fully integrated, it integrates seamlessly with their CRM, allowing them to match incoming caller IDs and log call history.
